Tattoo After-Care

Please follow the aftercare instructions to ensure your tattoo heals properly and maintains vibrancy

BANDAGES
Saran Wrap - Remove the wrap after 3-4 hours.  
Saniderm - The clear bandage should be left on for 3-4 days.   It is normal to see a collection of blood and fluids under the bandage.  If the bandage peels / leaks, you should remove it early.  When you remove the bandage, do so in the shower, using warm water to loosen the adhesive.  

CARING FOR YOUR TATTOO
After removing your wrap/bandage, gently wash all fluid buildup left on your skin.  Let tattoo air dry, and apply moisturizer.
Keep your tattoo clean to prevent infection.  Wash the tattoo 2-3 times daily, and whenever you sweat profusely or get it dirty. 
Always let tattoo air dry and apply moisturizer after washing.
We recommend you continue to moisturize for 6 weeks to maintain vibrancy as it settles.

Do NOT pick at scabs, as this can cause the ink to bleed.

Keep your new tattoo out of the sun, and, once it has healed, always apply sunscreen to the tattooed area to keep it from fading. (Do not apply sunscreen to a tattoo until it has fully healed). If your new tattoo has to be in the sun, keep the area covered.

GENERAL
Your tattoo will be mostly healed in approximately 2 weeks.
